Our Programs
Little Pals Preschool is a New York State licensed Day Care and registered with New York State Educational Department, so therefore meets stringent safety, health, and educational requirements.
Under the direction of Angela Nardo, MS-CCC-Speech Language Pathologist, the staff applies strategies to encourage speech language development, and language use throughout all activities. Our language based curriculum is supported by learning centers throughout each classroom that encourage exploration and creativity, as well as communication skills.
Our facility is clean, bright, and safe. Our beautiful, well equipped, fenced in playground offers children lots of fun, as well as opportunities for gross motor activities.
Infants
The first months and years of a child’s life are the most formative in development of mind, body and spirit. Sleep, emotional and physical nourishment and sensory stimulation are more important in infancy than at any other time. The most important need for these children is warm, nurturing care from the adults they depend on, as well as, providing them with secure surroundings and playthings that meet their needs and support their individual development....
6 weeks to 18 months - 3 to 5 full days from 7:30am to 6:00pm
Toddlers
The development of language is particularly crucial during the infant-toddler period. Therefore, we will provide many opportunities for your toddler to engage in meaningful, experienced-based communication with their caregivers, and have their communications acknowledged and encouraged....
18 months to 2.9 years - Daycare & Preschool - 2 to 5 day programs (half and full day)
3 Year Old & Transition Programs
Our 3 Year Old and Transition Program curriculum is multi-faceted and geared toward the “whole child”, fostering multiple intelligence's and learning styles. The centers in our classrooms will be available for hands-on-learning and reflect evidence on the topic being investigated. Circle Time each day will set the stage for the exploration and introduce relevant concepts....
2 to 5 day programs (half, full, & extended)
4 Year Old Program
Our Pre-Kindergarten curriculum is multi-faceted and geared toward the “whole child”, fostering multiple intelligences and learning styles. Before & After School Program
Little Pals Preschool offers before and after school daycare for Kindergartners through 3rd graders attending Monroe-Woodbury School District's Sapphire and Pine Tree Elementary schools. The MS School Bus will pick the children up from Little Pals and drop them back off after the school day ends. Children are given a snack and offered free play as well as homework assistance (upon parents request). Please contact us for more information.
