Welcome to Summer Camp
Little Pals Summer Camp is back this Summer and better than ever!!! Each year we strive to do our very best to make your child’s Summer experience wonderful, full of fun, laughter, play and learning. Our beautiful grounds encourage the love and appreciation of the great outdoors. Each week different themes offer our campers ample opportunity to imagine, move, play, laugh, create, perform and make friends while expanding their minds, their self-image and self-worth.
Adventurers - within our group of Adventurers will be a sub group of children who want to explore their inner talents and given the opportunity to express themselves through music, dance, magic and performance. Throughout camp the Adventurers will be encouraged to document their thoughts and experiences through the written word while expanding their vocabulary and language.
OUR STAFF
Our staff is a team of experienced and dedicated Counselors (LPP teachers, college students/future teachers and assistants) under the overall direction of Angela A. Nardo, MS-CCC-SLP. Little Pals is and will always be a safe, loving and fun environment for your child with plenty of outside fun, exploration and activities; plus places to relax and enjoy the Summer weather. In addition, we want your child to have an opportunity to grow in their sense of who they are and give them a chance to shine. Your child will develop Summer Camp friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. Finally, Little Pals will follow all required safety protocols mandated to keep your child and all of our Counselors safe and healthy.
Weekly Themes 2025
Week 1 Jne 30th-July 5th (Camp closed July 5th) “SPLISH, SPLASH!”
Get ready to have fun with water! We’ll make a splash everywhere around camp with relay races, water slide, car wash, spray bottles and water balloon fun! Perfect fun for a summer day!
Week 2 July 7th -11th “The Sound of Music”
Tune in for some groovy mysic stations with beginning musical theory lessons, creating your own song in a jam session with Miss Jess, and rocking out to our Rhythm song! Everyone seems to catch the beat this week as we create musical intruments, play and then perform in our concert and parade!
Week 3 July 14th -18th “The Great Outdoors”
Over the River and to Little Pals, the campers will explore the nature around them, embarking on nature walks and engaging in all their senses! There will be silly songs, games and crafts, nature activities, and some insect and reptile hands-on experience! We will be creating our own campfire story with s’more fun and tasty treats! Make your very own stuffed animal this week and have a memory of your summer to cherish forever!
Week 4 July 21st -25th“1,2,3,4, we want Color War”
From relay races and obstacle courses to kickball and balloon volleyball, let’s kick out some color war fun at LPC! Camp will be divided into two teams for some friendly competition!
Week 5 July 28th -August 1nd “Little Pals Got Talent”
From putting on puppet shows to creating our very own talent show where campers will shine on “stage”, get ready to let out your inner SUPERSTAR! Singing camp cheers and songs, group dance off, costumes and creative play are just some of the things campers will do this week!
Week 6 August 4th -8th “ carnival ”
Summer is coming to an end, but the fun doesn’t stop for us at Little Pals! We’ll end with a bang and celebrate the last days of summer camp with a fun carnival for all to enjoy! Win tickets and cash in for prizes and have a rocking time at our all-camp dance party! Sayonara, summer…until next year!
Week 7 August 11th -15th “Field Day Fun”
We are ending our summer camp with a bang! Field day sports and fun! Lace up your sneakers, and bring your team spirit. Join us for a week packed with exciting games, friendly competitions and outdoor adventures! Whether your racing in relays, three-legged races, water sports, hula hoops, cheering on your friends /0auor dunking your camp counselors, there is something for everyone! ! Pick your teams, learn some chants and have a ball!!!
OUR FACILITY & GROUNDS
Our facility is clean, bright, air-conditioned and safe. Our revamped well-equipped, fenced in playground offers children lots of fun, as well as opportunities for gross motor activities. We have acres of shady grass fields perfect for lots of sports, obstacle courses, fun water activities, relaxing hammocks and tents to ponder in.
All our doors are locked and are under surveillance along with our grounds and playground. Parents and visitors must be buzzed in and must have proper identification to have a child released to them. We are a licensed NYS Day Care, so we adhere to stringent regulations on sanitation, curriculum and teacher/child ratios. We follow all Department of Health & CDC guidelines for safety.
